Style and Design
The new 2021 Bronco pays tribute to the original Bronco of the 1960s with its boxy styling. From its square shape to its circular headlamps, this SUV has all of the retro charm that many drivers crave.
The new Bronco has some enticing functionality baked into its design as well. Whether you choose the two-door or four-door configuration, you will get an SUV with removable doors and a removable top. Ford offers both a hard-top and soft-top option to consider for the new Bronco.
Inside the cabin, the new Bronco strikes a balance between utility, comfort, and style. A simple, minimalist dashboard offers all of the functionality that you need. Support, yet durable seats are ready for any adventure. The Bronco also offers a substantial rear storage area.
Performance
Ford didn't hold back when it came to the new Bronco's performance attributes. From powertrains to chassis components, this SUV is designed to take on tough challenges.
The 2021 Bronco is an SUV in the truest sense. Rather than using the car-based designs of many modern crossovers, the Bronco features a truck-based body-on-frame design. This architecture offers superior durability and performance in off-road situations. It's the preferred style for most off-road enthusiasts.
The Bronco also comes standard with a solid rear axle, high ground clearance, and four-wheel drive. It's a perfect blend of features to provide a foundation of all-terrain performance.
Ford offers both a part-time four-wheel drive system and an automatic four-wheel drive system. Other off-road options include locking differentials, all-terrain tires, Terrain Management System, and more.
There's plenty of power under the hood as well. The base 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine is good for 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Moving up to the available 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine gets you 310 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.
Safety
Ford will offer the new Bronco with a range of active safety technologies.
Forward Collision Warning with Automatic Emergency Braking: This feature can detect oncoming obstacles and send and alert to the driver. If necessary, automatic braking can be used to slow the vehicle.
Lane Departure Warning and Lane-Keeping Assist: These features are designed to warn the driver when drifting occurs and even provide light steering assistance.
Blind-Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert: This feature uses sensors to detect other vehicles in low visibility areas and alert the driver when needed.
