New Ford Ranger For Sale Near Winnemucca

Ford Ranger - you have probably heard the name before, because Ford was selling Ranger pickups back in 2011. Even before that, the name "Ranger" was used for Ford pickup trucks as far back as the 1960s. But the 2019 Ford Ranger is much different than the Ranger of old. Back then, the Ford Ranger was a compact pickup truck. Now, the Ranger is a midsize truck that is easy to park and maneuver in tight spaces. Today's Ford Ranger has a fuel-efficient four-cylinder engine and an optional off-road package that is available with every trim. Its high ground clearance and rounded wheel arches give it an athletic stance. The new Ranger has a vibrant twin power dome hood, deeply cut lower door panels, and a rounded front fascia with a wide grille that complete its sporty look. Three appearance packages are available that make the new Ranger stand out, and drivers in the Northeastern Nevada area can shop from a wide selection of Ranger models at Gallagher Ford.

Standard Features

The 2019 Ford Ranger can get up to speed quickly with its 270-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It also gets good gas mileage - at 21 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. You won't feel roughed up on the ride either, since the new Ranger has an independent front suspension and a solid rear axle with two-stage leaf springs that smooths over bumps on uneven pavement. Specially tuned monotube shocks and electronic steering further heighten its handling and control. Like most Ford pickups, the Ranger is plenty capable as a work truck, with best-in-class towing and hauling ratings among gas-powered midsize pickups. When properly equipped, the new Ford Ranger can tow up to 1,860 pounds and haul up to 7,500 pounds. People in the Battle Mountain and Carlin areas who like to go off-roading will appreciate that the new Ranger has 8.9 inches of ground clearance and available four-wheel drive. An available off-road package includes an off-road-tuned suspension, special off-road tires, a locking rear differential, skid plates, and crawl control. The Ranger's Terrain Management Systemâ„¢ lets you choose from four drive modes (Normal, Grass, Gravel/Snow, Mud/Ruts, or Sand) for enhanced traction in challenging conditions.
