    • Great vehicle for my growing family

This car has been a pleasure to our family of 7 for the last 10 years. We got it when I was expecting my 3rd and it has taken us on many long road trips. It's hauled all our camping gear many times over with a cargo top and loaded to the gills without a problem. Being almost 20 years old, I have expected her to leave me stranded, but it hasn't happened. We are looking for a new vehicle now since my kids are reaching over 6 feet in height and we could use more room when we travel. Great vehicle!

    • Great Vehicle, Wish it was Still Made

We bought our 2000 Montana when it was a couple of years old and had 45,000 kilometers on it. The only real hiccup we have had in the 14 years we have owned it was a coolant gasket failure at about 100,000 km. That was a known flaw on GM vehicles and a lot of owners experienced the same problem. Otherwise, this has been an awesome vehicle. Reliable, comfortable, able to tow a tent trailer up and down mountain passes, great cargo capacity. Interior is comfortable and super durable. Carpets are still in great condition (carpets on our Mazda 3 wore through after about 5 years). Other than replacing the brake pads and the front wheel bearings last year, this van has required absolutely nothing. It will probably run for another 5 years. It is starting to rust in front of the rear wheels but that seems to happen to all Montanas of this vintage. All in all, we could not be happier with our Montana. I just hope the vehicle we replace it with is as good as this one.
