What's New this Year?
The biggest things that we know about the upcoming 2025 Ford Expedition lineup is that all models will receive refreshed styling inside and out, giving the largest Ford model in the lineup a facelift that makes it more appealing and accommodating to your needs. There's an entirely new front fascia that uses smaller bracket lights to flow into the prominent front grille to give it a more modern appeal. The rear of the vehicle also earns new LED taillights, as well as a possible split-opening tailgate.
Inside the cabin, the new Ford Expedition models will feature a dashboard-spanning screen, with a smaller touchscreen used for the driver and the larger vehicle stretching screen offering updates, alerts, information, and passenger controls to keep you connected, driving with confidence, and entertained on every outing around Spring Creek, NV and beyond.
Under the hood, it's likely that Ford will continue to use the same 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost engine with three available outputs. It's rumored that a hybrid model might also be available.
Performance
The current Ford Expedition lineup features a standard 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine on every model, with different trim levels offering different versions of that engine to provide you with the strength and command that you want most. The standard Ford Expedition comes delivers 375-horsepower with 470 pounds-feet of torque, providing you with a strong, capable performance that you can enjoy on any outing in the city, on the highway, or off the beaten path. Platinum Series models make 400-horsepower and 480 pounds-feet of torque, while the highest trims offer 440-horsepower and 510 pounds-feet of torque.
All the Ford Expedition models come with a smooth and responsive 10-speed automatic transmission and have your choice of rear-wheel or all-wheel drive helping you take on tough terrain around Winnemucca with ease.
Design
As we mentioned before, the 2025 Ford Expedition lineup has a redesigned exterior and interior to provide you with more of the style and features you want inside and out. On the outside, the front end gets entirely redesigned with slim LED headlights, a large grille, and a sharper fascia. Inside the cabin, you can enjoy comfortable and spacious seating for up to eight passengers, or seven if you prefer captain's seats in the second row. There's also 20.9 cubic feet of cargo space, with up to a whopping 104.6 cubic feet of space when you fold all the rear seats down.
Technology and Safety Features
All the new Ford Expedition models will come with a cutting-edge suite of technology and safety features to keep you always connected and confident as you travel. The Expedition is expected to gain a larger, dashboard stretching screen that displays a variety of features, including a touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that lets you seamlessly connect and control your smartphone device on the touchscreen or with voice commands.
Every new Ford Expedition model also has the Ford Co-Pilot360 system, featuring blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keeping assistance, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and many other helpful features.
